LAGGING LEGS

A playable projection at the Mercedes Benz Museum

„The Lagging Legs“ have a hard time on their wobbling feet. They need to depend on other, supporting players. The players have to move the legs of the animals, with the help of four buttons, as a team to finally cross the finish line.

The slowest player sets the speed for the rest of the team, but if another member goes to fast, the animal will stumble and crash. Teamwork is the key element of „The Lagging Legs“. The winners will be the players making arrangements with their team, to find a rhythm.

The multiplayer game „Lagging Legs“ was developed and implemented for the „Animated Com Awards“ at the „International Animated Film Festival Stuttgart14“

PROGRESS

The task was to create the technical connection between space, projection and the game.

TECHNIC

The challenge was to use the extraordinary architecture. It created a symbiosis of game and space. The interface design is based on the interior design and on the wobbly legs of the animals.

SPACE

Our task was to create a thematic  connection to the International Animated Film Festival and the creative industries: Teamwork, joint flexibility and persuasion the same objectives. These are the important soft skills, which are also the subject of the game and the design.
